Our Mission
The Mission of the World Song Moo Kwan Federation is to move forward in developing and achieving the following critical functions and goals:
The WSMKF will preserve the ideal philosophical principles and promote the code of honorable personal conduct that together serve to make Song Moo Kwan Tae Kwon Do a true traditional martial art being actively practiced and developed within the United States of America and the world.
The WSMKF will offer, to all those eligible Members who are interested in participating, a uniform and equitable Dan and Gup Promotion Certification program. WSMKF Dan and Gup Certification will be granted to all those eligible candidates who successfully complete the Dan and Gup Promotion Regulations and Requirements for WSMKF Dan and Gup Certification, which is acknowledged and recognized at the international level within the United States of America and the world.
The WSMKF will promote an international curriculum of classes essential for the proper instruction of Song Moo Kwan Tae Kwon Do as a traditional martial art. These classes will be offered in the United States by the WSMKF, on a regular basis, as WSMKF Instructor Certification Seminars. WSMKF Instructor Certification will be granted to all those eligible candidates who successfully complete the attendance and examination requirements for WSMKF Instructor Certification, which is acknowledged and recognized at the international level within the United States of America and the world.
